Summer in Andorra


From the Hotel Roc de St Miquel we run an excursion company called High Trax. Through this we offer fun and interesting excursions in and around Andorra. We only use young and polite guides with many years of experience with working with groups.

As well as these excursions the hotel has a range of mountain bikes,
a sun terrace and a BBQ area.

We are just 200m from the pony trekking stables and just 500m from the telecabina lift to take you to the top of the Soldeu mountain where there are a wide range of activities on offer.

Sorteny Nature Reserve
High Trax
 		 An easy and beautiful walk around Andorra’s only nature reserve.

Siscarro Lakes
High Trax A walk from the hotel up to 2000m to the Siscarro lakes.

Smuggler’s Route

 		 Going by 4x4 we explore the old smuggler’s routes around the Catalan Mountains.

Full Day.



White Water Rafting
High Trax Off road in a 4x4 or on a mountain bike down to Sort for an afternoon of white water rafting.

Full day.

Cabana Sorda

 		 A local walk up to the picturesque Cabana Sorda lake.

¾ day.

Ordino BBQ
Exploring the lakes and waterfalls of the Ordino Valley stopping for a Traditional Catalan BBQ. This day can be done on a mountain bike.

Snow & Snow

We have just had nearly a meter of snow! The lifts open on the 28th November. www.grandvalira.com is now online.

Changes for 2010

Full instalation of the world cup slope down Avet. A new part for the Slalom and Perdiu and tunnel for the green to the bottom so that when there is a race or trianing only Avet will be closed.
